Life Lately: My GCSE Results!

My knees turned to jelly and my heart began to race as I walked up the stairs to the office to find many friendly faces and the head teacher handing me a piece of paper - My GCSE results.
I planned to take the sheet away with me, back to my car to reveal my grades without fuss as I was slightly worried about them, but my teachers insisted I opened them there and then and my friends did too. Before I knew it my maths teacher was hugging me, I had tears streaming down my cheeks, my Spanish teacher had goosebumps and my English teacher was smiling at me.
I had passed my GCSE's with good grades.
That feeling of relieve when you find out all your hard work has paid off is very overwhelming and to some people, my grades might not seem amazing however, to me they were what I wanted and overall it was a huge sense of achievement. Lets just say my friends and I partied hard that night too!

I now have three weeks left of summer before I start 6th form. I am still a tad unsure of what to take but I'm sure I'll make the right decision. However for now I am just going to relax!

If you too got your results back I hope you all did fantastic and if not, it is not the end of the world!
Also, a huge thank you to everyone who has read my last few posts as well!

What's In My Bag?

What's In My Bag?

Okay, yes, I have purposely not taken photos of the crumbs, panty liners or the one million plasters at the bottom of my bag because you know, how un-cliché of me. THEY ARE STILL THERE THOUGH!

This bag has a place in my heart as it is so formal yet classy and literally fits in everything I need including my camera! Believe me, it's a lot bigger than it looks!
Shana - 15€

Glasses - Primark 3€
These glasses are relatively new and I've not really worn them much however they are very cute and go with pretty much all of my outfits!

Glasses Case - Stradivarius
(Came free with a pair of glasses)

Note book - Tiger 2€
This note book is such a great size for my handbag and being new I've not got round to doodling in it yet but I'm sure it will come in handy for jotting down ideas in or simply just drawing in when bored!
Phone case - Present!
This phone case is by far my favourite one yet and despite my cracked screen it looks very "tumblry" on.

Purse - Michael Kors
This purse is my life. The size and colour are perfect and it's everything I look for in a purse! Of course it is just filled with the usual: money, train tickets, a friendship stone and of course more plasters!

In my bag I also have this little makeup-bag from Primark in which I carry lots of handbag essentials such as:
A concealer - Maybelline Fit Me
A body spray - Impulse
A hand sanitizer - Primark
Lip balm - Vaseline
Lipstick - Mac Fast Play
Hand cream - Body Shop
Hair bobbles and clips!

Happiness Is A New(d) Lipstick.

Happiness Is A New(d) Lipstick.

I go through phases with lipstick. Some days I love a bright coral lip and other days I avoid bold lips like the plague. Depending on the season, of course, I opt for a brighter or duller lip but right now only nudes are doing it for me.
Some of these lipstick shades to you may seem extremely similar however they perfectly balance my skin tone and avoid the too pale or tired effect. This is certainly my shade!

Mac - Fast Play.
This lipstick is pure perfection. It is the first MAC lipstick I have ever purchased and I was not disappointed. It gives true colour in a single swipe yet is still buildable. It is unbelievably hydrating as it belongs to the Amplified crème family which apparently is one of MAC's most moisturising formulas. I wore it pretty much everyday on holiday, day through to night as it complemented both a neutral and smoky eye.
Kiko - 917.
Okay, so this isn't the most appealing name for a lipstick... However do not let that put you off! This lipstick not only complements my skin tone if not also works wonders to my lips also! The creamy formula leaves my lips so luscious and soft however I do find myself having to reapply it every few hours but nonetheless it has made its way to my top 5 favourites and I love it very much.
Bourjois - Rose Tweed.
The Bourjois Rouge Edition lipsticks are something else. These lipsticks are my favourite drugstore lipsticks...ever! I also have the shade Pretty Prune which is to die for but Rose Tweed is defiantly the one for me. With being semi-matte and not leaving your lips feeling dry this is pretty much everything I look for in the perfect lipstick.
Sleek - Liqueur.
I go through phases again with Sleek as I have undergone some rather "bad" experiences with some of Sleeks products such as wearing one of their matte lipsticks at a festival on a hot day. My lips felt dry, waxy and so dehydrated! However, I am no way bashing them as they have produced one of my favourite lipsticks ever. Liqueur. This is from their sheen collection which is the complete opposite of their matte collection. It is so moisturizing and I wore it all throughout last  December and it has reappeared in my makeup bag again this August. It is beautiful.
Maybelline New York Color Drama- Nude Perfection.
What an excellent name for this lipstick/crayon! These pencils do not lack in pigmentation and with the fine point they are also great for lining your lips too! At this stage I'm now finding it hard to find a different word to describe this lipstick apart from amazing. Due to its semi-matte finish it feels a lot more solid and lasts really well throughout the day! I love it.

Do you have a favourite Nude lipstick? If so which one? X
